International Excellence Scholarship at Federation University Australia

Scholarship Description: Federation University Australia delighted to announce the International Excellence Scholarships. The scholarships are open for undergraduate and postgraduate international students.
The International Excellence scholarships are equivalent to 20% of your tuition fees for the normal duration of your program. The scholarship will be awarded for study at a specific undergraduate and postgraduate degree and is not transferrable.

Entrance Requirements: To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be:

      • Be enrolled in an on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate degree program by coursework – that is, studying at Ballarat, Berwick or Gippsland campuses of Federation University Australia;
      • To be eligible for a scholarship you must be enrolling in an eligible degree program. This is a program which is:
        • Delivered on campus at Federation University Australia
        • Registered on CRICOS
        • Delivered by coursework
      Application Procedure:
      • Selection of successful applicants for the limited number of scholarships is competitive and may require scores above the minimum requirements.
      • If you have an unconditional offer, you must accept the scholarship offer within four weeks of offer date.
      • If you have an offer which is conditional, you must accept your offer after meeting the condition/s of your offer.
      Students will be automatically assessed for scholarships when applying for an eligible on-campus program at Federation University Australia. There is no need for a separate application. Students must commence their eligible program in semester 1 or semester 2, 2019.

  7. have satisfied any specific criteria established by the Program Area or the government of the applicant’s country of citizenship (e.g. having  worked a certain number of years in an appropriate sector);
  8. be able to satisfy the admission requirements of the institution at which the award is to be undertaken (this may mean that Program Areas will need to withdraw an award offer if the recipient cannot satisfy the institution’s admission requirements. This may not be known until Program Areas request a placement at selected institutions);
  9. be able to satisfy all requirements of the Department of Home Affairs to hold a Student Visa. This may mean that the Program Area will need to withdraw an award offer if the recipient cannot satisfy the visa requirements;
  10. Not be applying for a scholarship for a course of study at an academic level lesser than they have already achieved (eg be applying for a Master’s scholarship when they already hold a PhD); and
  11. Applicants must inform the Program Area of any connection or relationship to staff employed at Program Areas (including locally engaged staff at post) or with managing contractors so that the application may be properly and transparently managed.
